I was asked this question today, "If the Kingdom of God visibly appeared in your city today what would change?"

Well, everything! Wouldn't sin no longer be present among us because it would ultimately be the "Thousand Year Reign"?? Tell me if I missed the mark at all :)

I guess I was thinking along some more specific lines... what physical changes would be present in the city? Would their be run-down buildings? How would crime be? Tangibly how would Santa Rosa look if the Kingdom was now?

I can think of at least two differences -- no need for mortuaries ( no death), and no need for hospitals, either. Come to think of it, probably wouldn't be too much for a policeman to do, or a soldier -- maybe attorneys and judges would be unemployed (or given to more noble pursuits), too. Would we need a Social Welfare apparatus?
