Everything That's On My Mind (Almost) - July 18, 2012

  1. My son is two years old today. Let the reign of terror begin.
  2. Last night Ethan and I read about God calling Abraham to sacrifice Isaac. Holding your son while reading that story opens up an entirely different perspective on it.
  3. My war with Wells Fargo Dealer Services, a fax machine and the Kansas DMV continues. I will not bow to technology that was hip in the 1980’s.
  4. It used to be that Pat and Ron were the two best baseball broadcasters in the business. It’s now Kruk and Kuip.
  5. Extreme Home Makeover is back at the house. Still waiting for them to send me on that awesome all-expense paid vacation to Disney Land while they work.
  6. Santa Rosa vs. Wichita.
  7. Been reminded lately how much I am in need of the work of the Holy Spirit to accomplish anything.
  8. I’m only attempting to launch five new community groups and a regional training school by September 8.
  9. It’s so great to have my family back home.
  10. Long-term. Low-key. Intentional relationships. That’s the key to evangelism.
  11. I’m going to be sad if The Donut Whole is out of maple-bacon donuts this morning.
